About DIET Pabia
District Institute of Education & Training (DIET), Pabia, Jamtara, Jharkhand is a district-level teacher education and academic resource institution working towards strengthening the quality of school education in the district.
DIET Pabia focuses on the professional development of teachers, academic support, teacher training, educational research, innovation and development of effective teaching-learning practices. The institute provides need-based academic and training support to teachers, school heads and other educational functionaries to enhance classroom practices and improve learning outcomes.
The institute promotes child-centred, inclusive and activity-based learning, with emphasis on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), competency-based education, ICT-enabled teaching, innovative Teaching Learning Materials (TLM), assessment practices and continuous professional development.
DIET Pabia also serves as a platform for workshops, seminars, academic discussions, action research and educational innovation, enabling teachers and teacher educators to share experiences and adopt effective practices. Recent activities at DIET Pabia have included ICT-based teacher training and workshops focused on improving board examination outcomes.
